Catalonia, 4th region in Europe in attracting foreign investment in 2015   Barcelona-El Prat Airport leads passenger growth in EU
The foreign investment figures for Catalonia hit 5.224 billion euros according to FDI Markets. This volume of investment is only surpassed by those of London, Scotland and Moscow.   El Prat leads Group 1, which encompasses airports with more than 25 million passengers. International traffic at the Barcelona airport grew 31% between 2010 and 2015.
